Antarctica in 35mm Film

I traveled to the Antarctic Peninsula in January and February 2024. I brought two cameras with me: a Yashica T4 35mm (analog) camera and a Fujifilm X-T5 (digital) camera with 16-80mm and 100-400mm lenses. Antarctica was the most magical, beautiful, and spectacular place I’ve ever been, and every day I dream of going back.

These are a few of the photographs I took while I was there using my Yashica T4. For the black and white photographs, I shot on Kodak T-MAX 400 film; for color, I shot a few rolls of Kodak Gold 200, Fujifilm 400, Kodak Portra 160, and Kodak Portra 400. All film was developed and scanned at the wonderful
Fromex photo lab. None of these photos were edited or altered in any way except for being cropped (I cropped several photos to fit the site).
